| 1919 | Engineer Carl Koch was chief of development at the Eisenacher Dixi-Werke (taken over by BMW in 1929), an industrial construction site for aeroplane engines before founding his own company Koch & Co. in Erfurt. Within 6 years he produced 800 automobiles of the brand KoCo until the global economic crisis and the resulting inflation forced him to shut down the production in 1926. |
